These are the work in progress photos of some text backgrounds i done as well as how they could look with the paintings. I used the digital sketch i did of foxglove, and replaced the background with a photo of the paintings, this was to have a better understanding on how different colours and texture would work. I like them all in there own way, they all do work but have different pro and cons so was hard to pick one i would like to mimic. This was helpful when it came to talking/describing my ideas however the final background did not end up looking like any of them. These background also went though many changed, them all having 2-3 different layers of paint. This help me remember that it isn't difficult to cover it up if i do not like, and also help me have a better understanding on how to get different effects, by using rollers, wiping away, pallet knifes and other things. I wanted to create this quite fast (in the morning) as i had a meeting plan with Denis to talk about my id...

These are some digital tests i done over the weekend. These started off as me just doodling on my tablet, not haven't much energy or idea on what to do but wanting to do something, i started this session with tracing some photos to help me better understand and then started loosely drawing. I ended up loosely drawing some foxgloves, and this is what helped me in finalizing how my paintings where going to look. I originally wanted to do a meadow but wasn't sure on how to or where to start on it as it is not something i have done before, and i found this foxglove sketch to work well for my final pieces, later adding some text and a coloured background to complete it. I then did second sketch, where i spent more time on it, and also messed around with making some more backgrounds for them. - i know know where i could have started for the meadow and will keep in mind if i ever make the meadow painting/insulation in the future.
