At the start of this project I wanted to do something more illustration, as I haven't done much traditional work (drawings/paintings/2d) this year, it being something I normally lean towards. However, as the project progressed I began to lean more towards making something 3D, with my hands,  and didn't have much interest in illustrating stories like i originally did. I wanted to put the illustrations/stories onto some solid books, as i was experimenting with the idea of using ceramic to suggest the importance/permeance of words, inspired by stone carvings, in the previous project. At the beginning I was planning on using either ceramic or plaster for this, in the end i chose to use and focus on using plaster. This was due to the amount of time I had to make my books and the speed i can make them. I didn't do any ceramic experiments, only making the plaster mold for it, but from looking and using ceramic before the ceramic option would more likely have gone down a more earth...

Putting up show day 1 3rd June 2024 Today was my first official day of putting up the show, I wanted to focus on cleaning out my area, adding the mesh and fabric to the frame and putting the frame up. What I was able to complete  I realise that I put the mesh on the wrong way, but j was able to fix the issue buy flipping the frame before I put tje fabric on. My original plan of having the hook things for the books will not work, due the the fabric being in the way. I chose to do tie fabric tight and didn't realise that I wouldn't be able to put the wire between the fabric and the frame. I plan to put the hook things on the under part of the frame or on the inside edge I don't like the sag that is happening to the mesh, I plan to sew it to the fabric once the beads have been hung, so that it will have a more clean and finish look to it Before I headed home, I did some lose draping of the fabric so that I have a bett...
