25/1/25 - 31/1/25 - all digital works from before the final one, and minus the colour one i made

This is the first design i made, i like how it turned out but looking at my newer ones it seems to 'simple' compare to them. This one was based on the ceramic ones i made, and i find that it works for that purpose but it is not as visually strong as the rest, I also found the line work it self to be too sketchy and armature then the newer one. This style worked well with my hand made book i did last year, but not for this and i found that it isn't fully using the assessable i have when it comes to digital work. It is not as clean as i would like it.

This is my first (and only) attempt as doing a much simple one. The purpose of this one was a test to see if i could make a design simple enough to become a laser cut wooden stamp. This was remains unfinished cause i forgot to lock a toll i was using to do symmetry and could not get it into the middle. I want to do a simple one for the laser cutting to make it easier on myself when it came to creating the stamp, having less smaller details will make less work and less chance for something to go wrong. I did not re attempt this as i did not enjoy making it, and like my more detail worked a lot more, however i did think of ways to make my work more simple (what did not end up doing) in later designs.

This is my 3rd design, this one was insrpired by the last but i wanted to make it more detail. Out of all of them, i find this one to be the most detail as i started to add elements with a white on top of the green. This can not be seen well with the photo. This is one of my favorite our of them all cause of all the small details, i particularly like the dots i add alone the detail lines in the petal, ad this gives it more depth. It remains as a 'small' flower in the middle as i did not know how to expand it more, but i think that it looks more finished then if i was to add more.

This is a border design i did i spired by my ceramic pumpkin design. The purpose of this one was to create something that i can add onto of other elements such as sketches/studies of the natural elements. I could do this either digitally - like the small experiment i later did - or print it our and put onto of a traditional work. I really like how this one came out, this also has a lot of small details like the previous one. Along with this i like the pointed look i got from the petals and dots between the petals, this makes the whole thing look like a decorative, detailed flowers then just a frame/boarder.

This is the sketch and finishes pieces of the experiment that i mentioned before. I like how this turned out, overall being proud has i have not created anything like this before digitally. While i like this, it does not fit with what I'm trying to make and came out more kitsch and cartoony then i would have liked. I want to focus more on designs like my first one but with the quality of the other ones. I found that those would work better as it draws the viewer to look at my work for longer, so they can see the small details and spot where the natural elements are hidden. Plus those versions look more like a piece of lace then this one does.

This is a table i made to make it easier to find what to use for each meaning, as well as seeing what other sub meanings i can add to my work based on the natural elements i added - only did this for the fruit and vegetables and I'm not planning to add many flowers into my work as they are more complicated to work with for now.
