Studio Practice

My original plan for this is to print of the photo and then photograph that on the wall and so on, but i want to look into doing it digitally as i find this will be easier to do. As well as it may be better to take the time to learn this, for if i was to use it in the future. I also feel like i could get a better quality photo this way. This way I can also do more experiments, and could see if i could replace the patter with a different one. I am open to still doing the original idea if things don't go to plan, but I want to focus more on doing it  digitally.

A simple recursive image.

There are a few different styles of Droste effect images. The first kind is a simple recursive image, like the cocoa box, which contains a replica of itself. “This is very doable in Photoshop because it’s a matter of selecting your entire canvas, copying it, scaling it down and pasting it,” says Sommers. “If you took a picture of yourself holding a picture frame and then took that whole picture, scaled it down and put that into the picture frame and repeated that until you can no longer see any detail, that’s the basic process.”

I wish did more of these then just one of these images, maybe experiment with changing the direction of the image. (cant upload photo)
