Droste Effect
'The Droste effect describes a specific type of recursive picture in which a smaller version of the larger image is featured within the larger image' - Adobe
While researching more into this, i have notice that a lot of digital versions of the effect used the swirl composition. I found it quite hard to find many examples of what i wish to create that is a straight version rather then a swirl.

This is an example of a photograph that has similar qualities to the Droste effect but not fully the same. In this image the photographer has taken a photo of himself using two mirrors that are facing each other. This work is not what i am aiming to create in my own work, but i found it to be important to look at a range of different ways to create this effect. This use of having two mirrors facing each other is something i have seen in person (no photo of that time or memory on where), i found this fascinating when i experienced it in person, this photo reminded me of that memory,
While these images are interesting and something that i would like to explore one day, it isn't quite what i am aiming to create and seems very complicated to learn in the time we have left for this project.
These are some examples of the Droste effect on Flicker. This is a mix of people who have done something similar to what i wish to do as well as some people I find have made an interesting image by using this effect.
